Winnie heads our Nakuru team, having fallen for our charms after a stellar career at a listed company. She is a brilliant commercial and conveyancing advocate who has done ridiculously impressive things like guide our clients in the acquisition of a business which was a going concern and which owned seven aircrafts, a hospital, a farm, a processing plant, a machine shop and an air strip and which had over 800 unionized employees spread in four different jurisdictions. The due diligence, the attendant regulatory approvals and negotiations were complex and mind boggling, so we’re pretty confident that you cannot come up with a corporate deal or accompanying jargon that she won’t smash out of the park with a quietly confident smile.
She has worked in-house and out-house and therefore knows exactly what the client needs and how to deliver it better than anybody else. She has enriched the ingredients of the product which we manufacture and serve at Ashitiva Advocates and which we casually refer to here as the law. Clients love her because she’s commercial, confident, fast and entirely charming. She is exactly what the doctor prescribed when you need a Deal Closer in the room. Her knack for picking up on finer points of detail carries over to her love for the finer things in life.
Winnie clings to her youth by compulsive swimming and by mixing all manner of natural herbs in her tea. Her dependence on this morning and afternoon beverage has left us questioning whether the herbs which she mixes are all certified by the Pharmacy and Poisons Board or whether some of these herbs are holier than others. But what we are sure about is that Winnie brings sunshine to every room which she walks into and that’s why she is precious to the Ashitiva universe and to our clients.
