Doris puts a capital E on the word Energy, she is an energetic inveterate people person. No one, neither the cleaner in the same lift nor the CEO behind her in the coffee queue, is spared her conversation. Her interest in people has not only built her a formidable network of contacts, but has also underpinned her growth in Corporate Kenya. She is undoubtedly a leading Energy and Petroleum expert in Africa.

Since establishing our Energy, Natural Resources and Infrastructure Department, this super-connector juggernaut has helped take our Energy Advisory Arm ever onwards and upwards. With a Masters in Energy Policy law from Dandee in Scotland, and an MBA in Energy Economics, Doris is a point of reference on the sustainable exploitation of Natural Resources in Africa particularly Oil and Gas. She can tell you the right diameter pipe to pump oil from the seabed to your bedside.  Smart like a fox, she has the heartiest laughter in the entire of Nairobi’s Upperhill and is the complete Energy lawyer who can tell you just from the wind direction whether you’re farming in or farming out.

Our first stop of call when we want to treat our international clients to Nairobi’s fun life, Doris knows every corner of the city and what it has to offer. But really it’s her shoe collection that keeps us in a state of awe-filled admiration. Doris is a Style Queen and possesses both the sense of a country girl (because she is) and the sensibility of a fashion icon. If you need to know which cocktail will go best with your handbag, or you want to sell solar to the Saudis, talk to Doris, but beware the bright-eyed country girl, she doesn’t miss a thing.  And yet nobody meets Doris and doesn’t immediately like her, as they should.  We love what she brings to the mix.
